You have come to the right place! I am Sam, or Samee Lakmal to be precise. I am born and bred in Sri Lanka, have done my time in the army during our troubled times, and know my country intimately. The last decade I have shown people my beautiful country, and take pride in our people, their cleanliness, environmental and recycling attitude but most of all our incredible fauna and flora, mountains and sea, history and culture. 

My contacts will ensure you get a professional guide everywhere you wish to go, or where no special guides are needed I can always volunteer as part of my service! Accommodation is always flexible, you may wish to book your own along the way or I can guide you in the right direction.

All tours are totally flexible and I can help make suggestions or recommend places to see depending on your fitness, age and interest! Plenty of room in the late model Toyota van for luggage and souvenirs too.

Rates start at 10,000* Sri Lankan Rupees (slr) per couple per day which includes the vehicle, all fuel and tolls, my accommodation and meals and my services during the day.  Add 4000slr per day for any extra person. *Entry fees, other guides and excursions along the way, your meals and accommodation you will need to pay for of course. This means you can splash out when you want to, find cheap or lavish excursions, restaurants and hotel, as you please. As a rough guide, reasonable Sri Lanka hotels are typical $30-50/night and meals $5-$10.
